The Center for Community Development (CCD Office) is an integral part of the Colegio’s operations on account of its being an educational institution. The CCD Office is the structural response of the Colegio to all its extension service concerns and community development efforts. |

CSJL gets 2008 Parangal Sagisag ng Ulirang Pamantasan Dalubhasaan |
What better way to show how focused the Colegio is in achieving its Vision as far as a sustained community service is concerned than receiving the 2008 Parangal Sagisag ng Ulirang Pamantasan Dalubhasaan award on May 2.
The Students’ Transformation and Enrichment for Truth-Values Integration and Promotion (STET-VIP), an NGO, gave the award to Letran because of its continuous and productive community projects and for its efforts to promote students’ esteem and self-worth through the National Service Training Program-Civil Welfare Service (NSTP-CWS). |

Message from the CCD Head |
 Our Colegio has produced not only pious saints and martyrs, but also heroes and leaders of our country who became the builders of the Filipino nation.
For centuries, we have been active partners of the Church and the government in pushing for the development of our communities. We have remained committed to the noble task of building communities and uplifting the lives of the Filipino poor.
We have accomplished many things, but much has to be done for the development of our communities. We continue to strive hard for the realization of our dream to have better communities through community involvement as we involve the institution’s various units and placing its physical resources, professional and cultural expertise at the service of the communities.
I exhort every Letranite to persevere in our noble mission of serving and sharing our blessings with the less fortunate members of our society.
