The Program
The Student Assistantship Program aims to support the Colegio in achieving its mission of making education available to all. It is designed to provide opportunity to financially handicapped but deserving and intellectually capable students pursue a college education by hiring them as student assistants to serve as part-time working students in the various departments of the Colegio.
Eligibility
Only bonafide students of the Colegio are qualified to apply. Disqualification from the enrollment anytime in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Colegio shall automatically mean disqualification of the students to the Program.
An applicant must belong to a family whose annual income does not exceed Php 120,000.00 annually, with good academic standing (no grade below 80%), good moral conduct and integrity, physically fit to work, pass the screening tests to be administered by the Colegio, pass the interview to be administered by the SAP coordinator and SAP Head.
Benefits and Privileges
The student assistants enjoy the following benefits/privileges:
1. 100%, 75% and 50% discounts on tuition fees for full-pledge, probationary and trainee student assistants, respectively.
2. Discounts on miscellaneous fees based on the ratings obtained on performance and scholastic evaluation.
3. Allowance based on the status and number of service hours rendered.
4. Additional allowance for services rendered in excess of the given work schedule per day.
5. Spiritual, personal and professional development activities.
Retention Policy
In order to be retained in the Program, a student assistant must:
1. Carry a minimum of 18 units per semester in his chosen undergraduate course.
2. Maintain a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 82%, with no grade below 80% and has completed all INC grades prior to the next enrollment period.
3. Has a performance appraisal rating of at least 82%.
